Bible Educational Services is a Christian charity providing Bible lessons and Bible activity sheets. The work was started in Ireland in 1958 by Bert & Wendy Gray with the Postal Sunday School which later became known as the Postal Bible School. Many independent PBS centres followed and BES was formed to supply resources to Postal Bible Schools, Churches and Schools.  These resources are now made available worldwide through this website.

The course is split into 4 levels with a starter series leading into 36 monthly issues per level. The stories are taken from both the old and new testaments and cover basic Bible stories and major Bible characters. Each issue is subdivided into four lessons which can be completed weekly. As a guide each level is aimed at the following approximate reading levels.

     Level 1 - ages 4 to 6
     Level 2 - ages 7 to 9
     Level 3 - ages 10 to 12
     Level 4 - ages 13 to 15
