Bible Educational Services is a Christian charity providing Bible lessons and Bible activity sheets. The work was started in Ireland in 1958 by Bert & Wendy Gray with the Postal Sunday School which later became known as the Postal Bible School. Many independent PBS centres followed and BES was formed to supply resources to Postal Bible Schools, Churches and Schools.  These resources are now made available worldwide through this website.

  Bibletime is a course aimed at 4 to 15 year olds, of fun and educational activity sheets designed to bring the Bible to life using a variety puzzles and games.  It is printed monthly for Postal Bible Schools, Schools and Churches.

   Newlife is a course of studies aimed at ages 15 to adult and designed for those who want to start digging deeper into the Bible and how it can influence our lives.  Some Postal Bible Schools use it for older students.
   
  Gleaners is an in depth 5 year study course aimed at adults. This course is currently being revised and is therefore not yet available through this site, but keep checking for updates!

   Several Postal Bible Schools offer Emmaus correspondence courses, and we recommend them for general Bible Study.  These include courses covering most books of the Bible and many other topics on Christian living. See list of courses available at: - http://www.emmaus.name/ewc/index.php
     
  Manna is a study course similar  to Newlife, but not as demanding.  Only a few Postal Bible Schools use it for students unable to devote much time to Bible Study, and sometimes as a alternative to Bibletime Level 4. It is not yet available through the site. but keep checking for updates!
